हकीम मौलाना मोहम्मद फ़ारूक़ नक़्शबन्दी मुजद्दिदी बहराइची (रह.)

हकीम मौलाना मोहम्मद फ़ारूक़ नक़्शबन्दी मुजद्दिदी बहराइची (रह.)।आप मदरसा जामेउल उलूम पटकापुर कानपुर में शिक्षक रहे।आप रईस अहरार मौलाना हसरत मोहानी और अली ब्रादरान के करीबी सहयोगी थे। आप ने 1933 में मौलाना हसरत मोहानी के साथ हज किया।खरगूपुर गोण्डा में जोशीला भाषण दिया गिरफ्तार हुए गोण्डा जेल में एक साल कठिन परिश्रम की सजा सुनाई गई।आप ख़िलाफ़त समिति के अध्यक्ष, जिला सचिव कांग्रेस बहराइच, ख़ाकसर आंदोलन के सदस्य, बहराइच मुस्लिम लीग के अध्यक्ष रहे।1946 में आज़ादी से पहले निधन हो गया। आपकी मज़ार मक़बरा शाह नईमुल्लाह बहराइची (रह.) में स्थित है, हज़रत शाह बशारतुल्लाह बहराइची (रह.) के मज़ार के बगल में।

 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी ख़्वाजा ख़लील अहमद शाह

ख़्वाजा ख़लील अहमद शाह का जन्म 9  दिसंबर 1891 में मौहल्ला क़ाज़ीपुरा बहराइच में हुआ था। आप कांग्रेस के प्रमुख व सक्रिय सदस्य रहे। आप पंडित जवाहर लाल नेहरू के करीबी सहयोगी थे।1936 में, आप कांग्रेस केटिकट पर संयुक्त प्रान्त विधान परिषद के सदस्य रहे।व्यक्तिगत सत्याग्रह आंदोलन में भाग लिया,भारत रक्षा अधिनियम के तहत एक साल की सज़ा सुनाई गई बहराइच ज़िला ज॓ल में कैद रहे।भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में, आप को भारत रक्षा अधिनियम के तहत 9 महीने नज़रबन्द रहे।

 

ठाकुर हुकुम सिंह 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी ठाकुर हुकुम सिंह का जन्म 1892 में लदौर, तहसील क़ैसरगंज, बहराइच जिले के गाँव में हुआ था। आप को पहली बार 1932 में असहयोग आंदोलन में 12 माह कैद और रु250 का जुर्माना की सजा पायी। 1937 में आप विधान परिषद के मेंबर हुए और कौंसिल के सचिव हुए । 1940 में सत्याग्रह में दोबारा बंदी बनाए गए,15 माह कठोर क़ैद और 100 रुपये के जुर्माने की सजा सुनाई गई। 1942 में फिर से भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में पकडे गए 15 महीने नज़रबन्द रहे । आप 1946 से 1962 तक विधानसभा के सदस्य रहे। आप उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार में विभिन्न महत्वपूर्ण विभागों में मंत्री रहे। आप ने 1960 में किसान डिग्री कॉलेज की स्थापना की। 2 दिसंबर 1971 को उनका निधन हो गया। 

 

सरदार जोगिन्दर सिंह 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी सरदार जोगिन्दर सिंह का जन्म 3 अक्टूबर 1903 को ग्राम भंगहा ज़िला बहराइच(अब ज़िला श्रावस्ती का एक ग्राम) में हुआ था। सन् 1932 में असहयोग आंदोलन में लखनऊ में बंदी होने के बाद 6 माह तक जेल में रहे।1940 में सत्याग्रह में दोबारा बंदी बनाए गए।15 माह कठोर क़ैद की सज़ा सुनाई गई तथा सेन्ट्रल एसेंबली से निष्कासित कर दिया गया,जेल से रिहा होने पर बनारस क्षेत्र से एसेंबली के निर्वाचन में निर्विरोध निर्वाचित घोषित किए गए।1942 को भारत छोड़ा आंदोलन में वह फिर बंदी बनाए डेढ़ वर्ष तक जेल में रहे।आप संविधान सभा, अन्तरिम संसद, लोक सभा तथा राज्य सभा के भी सदस्य रहे।आप उड़ीसा और राजस्थान के राज्यपाल रहे।आप का निधन 11 फ़रवरी 1979 को बहराइच स्थित कोठी पर हुआ ।

 

हज़रत मौलाना महफूज़ुर्रहमान नामी(रह°)                                

हज़रत मौलाना महफूज़ुर्रहमान नामी रह° की पैदाइश 1912 में हुई थी । आप ने जंग-ए-आज़ादी में अहम किरदार अदा किया,1931 में आप ने जामिया नूर-उल-उलूम की स्थापना की और कुछ सालों में ही नूर-उल-उलूम मुजाहिदीन-ए-आज़ादी का केन्द्र बन गया ।1946 में होने वाले एलेक्शन में जमियत उलमा हिंद और कांग्रेस के गठबंधन से बहराइच से एलेक्शन लड़ा और कामयाब हुए, पार्लियामेंट्री सेक्रेट्री भी रहे।1948 में आज़ाद इण्टर कालेज की स्थापना की।अलीगढ़ मुस्लिम यूनिवर्सिटी के कोर्ट मेंबर भी रहे । 17नवंबर 1963 को आप का इन्तिक़ाल हो गया और मोलवी बाग़ में हज़रत शाह नईम उल्लाह बहराइची( रह°) के अहाते (गेंदघर) में तदफ़ीन हुई ।

 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी मौलाना सलामतउल्ला बेग (रह.)

मुजाहिद आज़ादी मौलाना सलामतउल्ला बेग पैदाइश 1911 में ग्राम फख़रपुर ज़िला बहराइच(में हुई थी।1940 में युद्ध विरोधी भाषण देने के लिए मौलाना सलामतउल्ला बेग को भारत रक्षा अधिनियम के तहत जेल में 18 महीने के कारावास की कठिनाइयों को सहन किया और उन्हें 250 रुपये का जुर्माना लगाया गया और जुर्माना न चुकाने पर 12 महीने के कारावास की सजा सुनाई गई।ज़िला किसान सभा के अध्यक्ष थे। बहराइच ज़िला में जमीयत उलेमा के मंत्री थे।जामिया मसूदिया नूर-उल-उलूम के नाज़िम तालिमात और सदर मुद्ररिसीन थे।

मुजाहिद आज़ादी मौलवी कलीमुल्लाह नूरी

मुजाहिद आज़ादी मौलवी कलीमुल्लाह नूरी ने सत्याग्रह आंदोलन में भाग लिया और 1941 में भारत रक्षा अधिनियम के तहत नौ महीने की सजा सुनाई गई। आप बहराइच और गोंडा ज़िला जेल में कैद रहे।उन्होंने 1942 में भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में भूमिगत रहकर आंदोलन को सफल बनाया। बहराइच में ब्रिटिश सैनिकों के आगमन पर, उन्होंने उर्दू में "ब्रिटिश सेना का बहिष्कार" का नारा लगाया और पर्चे बांटे। एक गिरफ्तारी वारंट जारी किया गया लेकिन आप नेपाल के लिए रवाना हो गए और ब्रिटिश पुलिस गिरफ्तार नहीं सकी ।जामिया मसूदिया नूर-उल-उलूम के कारगुज़ार प्रबंधक रहे।

 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी हकीम अब्दुर्रऊफ़ ख़ाँ“जौहर वारसी”

हकीम अब्दुर्रऊफ़ ख़ाँ“जौहर वारसी” का जन्म नानपारा में हुआ था।आप एक प्रसिद्ध शायर व हकीम थे,राज्य हॉकी टीम के सदस्य रहे।पंडित नेहरू के करीबी थे। नैनी जेल में कैद होने पर पंडित जवाहरलाल नेहरू को उनके निर्देशों के अनुसार, जौहर साहिब एक लंगोटी के साथ एक भिखारी के रूप में,जेल से कुछ दूरी पर डेरा डालते थे और राहगीर उनके हाथों में कुछ सिक्के रख देतेथे।लेकिन विशेष कांग्रेसी कार्यकर्ता आपको दिनभर की गतिविधियों और करंट अफेयर्स के बारे में एक मुड़े हुए कागज़ के रूप में रिपोर्ट देते,जिसे दिनभर के दौरान सुरक्षित रूप से अपने पास रखते और विशेष साधनों से रात के अंधेरे में पंडित नेहरू तक पहुंचातेथे।मुजाहिद आज़ादी की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया गया।बहराइच नगरपालिका बोर्ड के सदस्य बने रहे।

 

मुजाहिद आज़ादी मुस्तफ़ा ख़ाँ (मौलवी)

मुस्तफ़ा ख़ाँ (मौलवी) का जन्म 1911 में जमुनहा बाज़ार,बहराइच(अब श्रावस्ती का हिस्सा) में हुआ था।पिता का नाम मौलवी रमज़ान ख़ाँ था। 1941 में सत्याग्रह आंदोलन में भाग लिया और भारत रक्षा अधिनियम के तहत 1 साल कठोर क़ैद और 100 रुपये जुर्माना की सज़ा हुई।दोबारा 1942 में भारत छोड़ो आंदोलन में गिरफ़्तार हुए और 9 महीने की सज़ा पाई। 9 महीने बाद फिर से तहरीक आज़ादी में सरगर्म हो गए और भूमिगत होकर तहरीक आज़ादी को सफल बनाना जारी रखा। इसके बाद फिर कभी अंग्रेज़ों के हाथ में नहीं आए।सरदार जोगिंदर सिंह(पूर्व राज्यपाल ओडिशा और राजस्थान) के करीबी साथी थे।1972 में आज़ादी की 25 वीं सालगिरह पर आपको प्रधानमंत्री इंदिरा गांधी द्वारा ताम्रपत्र से सम्मानित किया गया था। आजादी के बाद बहराइच के मानद मजिस्ट्रेट रहे।ज़िला परिषद बहराइच में ज़िला निरीक्षक का पद संभाला। 1981 में आप का निधन हुआ।आप के दो बेटे मरहूम आज़ाद अहमद ख़ाँ (टीचर) और जनाब आबाद अहमद ख़ाँ बहराइच शहर के जाने-माने वकील और पूर्व अध्यक्ष इन्तेज़ामिया कमेटी दरगाह शरीफ़ हज़रत सैयद सालार मसऊद ग़ाज़ी(रह.) बहराइच हैं।

Hakim Maulana Mohammad Farooq Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Bahraichi

Hakim Maulana Mohammad Farooq Naqshbandi Mujaddidi Bahraichi. Bahraichi.He was Teacher of Madrasa Jami Ul Uloom Patkapur Kanpur.
He was close associates of Rais Ahrar Maulana Hasrat Mohani and Ali Brothers. He performed Hajj with Maulana Hasrat Mohani in 1933. He delivered a fiery speech in Kharagupur Gonda, was sentenced to one year of hard labor in the arrested Gonda jail. He has been president of the Khilafat Committee, District Secretary Congress Bahraich, member of Khakasar Movement,and President of Muslim League Bahraich. He died before independence in 1946. His Mazar is located in Ahata Shah Nayimullah Bahraichi(Rh.), next to the Mazar of Hazrat Shah Basharatullah(Rh.)

 

Freedom Fighter Khwaja Khalil Ahmed Shah

Khwaja Khalil Ahmed Shah was born in 9 December 1891 in the Mohalla Qazipura,Bahraich City.He was a prominent and active member of the Bahraich Congress . He was a close associate of Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. In 1936, he was a member of the United Provinces Legislative Council on Congress ticket.He participated in individual Satyagraha movement, imprisoned in Bahraich district where he was sentenced to one year under the Defence of India Act. In the Quit India Movement, he was imprisoned for 9 months under the Defence of India Act.

 

Thakur Hukum Singh 

 Freedom Fighter Thakur Hukum Singh was born in 1892 in the village of Ladoor, Tehsil Qaisarganj, Bahraich District. He was imprisoned for the first time in 1932 and fined Rs. 250. He was taken into custody and sentenced to 15 months rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 100. He was again imprisoned in the Quit Hart Movement in 1942. He was detained for 15 months. He was a Member of the Assembly from 1946 to 1962. He was a Minister in various important departments in the Uttar Pradesh Government. He founded the Kisan Degree College in 1960. He died on December 2, 1971.

 

Sardar Joginder Singh 

Freedom Fighter Sardar Joginder Singh was born on 3 October 1903 in village Bhangaha district Bahraich (now a village of district Shravasti). He was imprisoned for 6 months after being detained in Lucknow in the Non-Cooperation Movement in 1932. Re-incarcerated in Satyagraha in 1940, and sentenced to 15 months of rigorous imprisonment and expelled from the Central Assembly, upon his release from prison, the Assembly was declared elected unopposed from the Benares region. He was imprisoned for one and a half years in the Quit India Movement in 1942. He was also a member of Constituent Assembly, Interim Parliament, Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. He was the Governor of Orissa and Rajasthan. He died on 11 February 1979 at the Kothi located in Bahraich.

Hazrat Maulana Mahfuzurrahman Nami(Rh.) 

Hazrat Maulana Mahfuzurrahman Nami(Rh.)was born in 1912.He played an important role in Jang-e-Azadi. In 1931 founded Jamia Masuodia Noor-ul-Uloom Bahraich and within a few years Noor-ul-Uloom became the center of freedom Fighters. In the election to be held in 1946, elected from Bahraich with the alliance of Jamiat Ulama Hind and Congress,he was also be parliamentary secretary.Founded Azad Inter College Bahraich in 1948! Member of Aligarh Muslim University court . He died on 17 November 1963 and buried at Ahata of Hazrat Shah Naeem Ullah Bahraichi (Rh.)in Molvi Bagh Know as Gendghar Ground.

 

Freedom Fighter Maulana Salamatullah Baig

Freedom Fighter Maulana Salamatullah Baig was born in 1911 in Fakharpur Village of Bahraich.He was jailed under the Defense of India Act for making anti-war speech in 1940. He endured the hardships of imprisonment for 18 months and was fined Rs. 250 and sentenced to 12 months imprisonment for non-payment of fine.He was Chairman of district kisan sabha.He was the secretary of Jamiat Ulema, Bahraich District. He was Academic director of Jamia Masoodiya Noorul Uloom.

 

Freedom Fighter Maulvi Kalimullah Noori

Freedom Fighter Maulvi Kalimullah Noori participated in the Satyagraha movement and was sentenced to nine months in 1941 under the Defense of India Act. He was imprisoned in Bahraich and Gonda districts. He made the movement successful by going underground in the Quit India Movement in 1942. On the arrival of British troops in Bahraich, they chanted the slogan "Boycott of British Army" in Urdu and distributed leaflets. An arrest warrant was issued but he left for Nepal and the British police could not arrest him

 

Freedom Fighter Hakim Abdul Rauf Khan "Johar Warsi"

Hakim Abdul Rauf Khan Johar Warsi was born in Nanpara.He was not only a good hakim but also a well known poet.He was a member of state hocky team.He was very close to Pandit Nehru. When Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was imprisoned in Naini jail, reports on day-to-day activities and current affairs would be given to him in the form of folded paper which he would keep in his lap safely during the day and in the dark of night he would deliver those pieces of paper to Pandit Nehru by special means.He was awarded the title of Freedom Fighter by Central Government.He has also been a member of the Municipal Board Bahraich.

Freedom Fighter Mustafa Khan (Maulvi)

Mustafa Khan (Maulvi) was born in 1911 in Jamnaha Bazar, Bahraich District (now part of Sharavasti).His father's name was Maulvi Ramzan Khan. Participated in the Satyagraha movement and was sentenced to 1 year rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs. 100 under the Defense of India Act.Recaptured in Quit India Movement in 1942 and was sentenced to 9 months. After that he became active in the independence movement again and continued to run the independence movement successful by going underground . He never came under the control of the British again. He was a close associate of Sardar Joginder Singh( Former Governor of Odisa and Rajasthan).On the 25th anniversary of independence, you were honored with Copper Plate(Taampatr)certificate by Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. Hounery magistrate remained in Bahraich after independence. Held the position of District Inspector at District Council Bahraich.He passed away in 1981.His 2 son  Late Azad Ahmad Khan (Teacher) and Mr.Abad Ahmad Khan is a well known lawyer of Bahraich city and former president of Dargah Sharif Hazrat Syed Salar Masoud Ghazi(Rh.) Bahraich management committee.
